About

I didn’t set out to write a book about myself.

I was simply trying to understand what God was doing with my life.

There were seasons I tried to hold everything together.

Seasons I couldn’t.

Seasons of grief.

Seasons of rebuilding.

Learning that God’s faithfulness is often quieter than we expect.

Looking back, I can see something I couldn’t see while I was living it.
God never abandoned me. He simply asked me to gather the next handful.

Amber is the author of Almost Ruth, a testimony of ordinary faith for the one who wonders if their next handful is enough.

She writes and speaks about God’s faithfulness in ordinary obedience — the everyday rooms where provision arrives quietly, and a next step is all you are asked to take.

Golden Hour is the home of that work: the book, the reflections, and the gathering she is honoured to walk into.

Amber hopes to encourage churches, women’s groups, recovery ministries, and community gatherings…

She would love to encourage your church, your women’s ministry, or your community gathering — and her prayer is the same one she carries into every room: that people leave talking more about Jesus than about her.
